Ever since I self-published my first healing card deck, the Magical Heart Healing Cards, back in 2013, I’ve loved working with my cards in many creative ways. In addition to selling my cards or utilizing them in my coaching practice, I’ve used them to grow my YouTube channel, expand my reach on social media, drive consistent recurring traffic to my website, and more.
If you’re wondering how you can use your oracle deck to grow your business besides just selling them as a physical product, here are 5 ideas to get you started:
5 Creative Ways to Use Your Own Oracle Deck to Grow Your Business
1. Promote & Sell Your Card Deck
I already mentioned this one above, but I thought I’d include it here for the sake of completeness. :) Yes, selling your oracle card deck can be a wonderful way to create additional business revenue and make your work more visible to a larger audience, both online and offline.
There are quite a few ways to do this: For instance, you can sell your cards on your website or in your Shopify store, publish them with an ISBN number and make them available on Amazon & co., get them into local bookstores or gift shops, and more.
(I have a more detailed article planned on this for the future, but these are a few of my favourites.)
2. Use your Oracle Cards to Promote Your Services
Secondly, you can use your oracle card deck to spread the word about other services (or products) you offer. For example, if you offer private readings, healing sessions, or coaching services, you can mention these in your “pick a card” posts on social media, weekly readings on your YouTube channel, live streams on Facebook, and so on.
3. Use Your Deck to Increase Your Social Media Following & Engagement
Speaking of “pick a card” posts and public readings, these are also great to build your social media following and increase engagement on your posts. (More engagement = more visibility, which means that interactive posts are an awesome way to utilize Facebook algorithms and the like to your advantage!)
For best results, find a format you can use consistently, such as a weekly or monthly energy forecast on YouTube or on your blog, a “pick a card” post on a specific day each week, or a daily update if your psychic readings are your main source of income and you really want to amp up your visibility.
4. Create a “Pick a Card” App
In addition to publishing and promoting your printed cards, a beautiful way to make your deck more accessible to a larger audience is to turn it into a digital product. For instance, you may want to publish your deck as an interactive “pick a card” app on your website, which is a great way to create recurring traffic and consistently promote your cards to a growing audience without much repeated effort on your side.
If you want to take it a step further, you could even turn your card deck into a mobile app which you can then use as an additional passive income stream and/or to promote your physical oracle deck to an extended audience.
5. Use Your Deck to Build Your Mailing List
If you don’t want to make your complete deck available as a publicly accessible app, or if you’d like to use it to build your list in addition to just increasing your website traffic, consider turning it into an opt-in. This way, you’ll get to collect your visitors’ contact details, and you’ll have a much more direct way to communicate with your audience once they’ve subscribed to your list (a.k.a. people who may not have purchased any of your products/services yet, but who are likely to do so at some point).
I highly recommend doing this is you want to use your card deck as one of your main income streams, or if you’re offering other services and products that will interest a similar audience.
