3 Ways You Can Use Your Own Oracle Deck to Grow Your Business
Ever since I created my first oracle card deck (the Magical Heart Healing Cards) several years ago, I’ve been getting questions from curious spiritual business owners wanting to know more about how I did it.
(If you’re interested in designing your own deck of oracle cards, I actually have a course that explains the process step by step. You can find it here! [» Get it before January 1st, 2019 to receive a 50% discount.]) :)
In today’s article, however, I wanted to share a few ways you can use your oracle deck to grow your business revenue—and why publishing your own deck could be one of the best things you can do for your spiritually based business.
As you might guess, selling your cards is one possibility to create some extra income in your business. But it’s not the only one!
Curious to learn more? Let’s get started!
1. Sell Your Oracle Card Deck
Let’s start with the most obvious way to create additional revenue using your oracle deck. Yes, publishing your own deck of oracle cards is a fun and rewarding way to add a (mostly) passive income stream to your business.
You can either sell your cards directly on your website (e.g. in WooCommerce if you have a WordPress website, or, if you have a business account on Squarespace, you can use their built in e-commerce tools to set up your shop). You can also sell your cards on an external platform such as Etsy or Amazon.
Hot tip: Some print-on-demand companies like The Game Crafter or makeplayingcards.com have their own storefronts, which means you can sell your cards directly from their website without any upfront printing costs. This is a great option if you don’t have a huge printing budget and want to start selling your cards without needing to get hundreds or thousands of decks printed first.
2. Use Your Oracle Deck to Promote Your Services
In addition to selling your cards, you can use your oracle deck to showcase your expertise and promote your services. For instance, if you’re a coach, you could do weekly live streams on Facebook and offer short mini readings to your audience to give potential clients a taste of what it’s like to work with you.
Alternatively, you may want to share weekly or monthly videos featuring your cards on YouTube (this works best if you’re desiring to reach a larger audience with your work).
Of course, you could also publish weekly or monthly readings on your blog, send your videos to your mailing list, or even host a free monthly event to grow your list.
With a bit of creativity, the possibilities are endless!
3. Use Your Cards as Part of an Automated Funnel
If you like, you can create a digital version of your deck and use it as part of an automated sales funnel on your website.
For example, you can use your cards as a traffic magnet which then leads to an upgraded opt-in offer. On one of my previous websites, I had a public version of one of my decks which contained only a limited number of cards. My visitors then had the option to unlock the complete deck in exchange for their e-mail address.
You can also hide your entire deck behind an opt-in if you like.
This can be a great way to grow your mailing list as well as to create recurring traffic to your website.
Generally speaking, I recommend using your deck as an opt-in if you’re targeting a large audience with your work. For instance, a “pull a card” app can be a great addition to your blog if you’re desiring to use your card deck as one of your primary income sources or if you’re building a large list that you can then market other products to.
